Republican Eric Wargotz today released the following statement on Barbara Mikulski attending the president's pep rally and continuing to avoid any discussion of the issues plaguing Marylanders:  

"Why does Barbara Mikulski say she wants a war but then hides behind the president's shadow?  We should have a war, a war of ideas in order to let the voters make the best choice.  Can she explain to Marylanders, after 34 years in DC, how she would do anything different than she has done to get us on the right track when she hasn't done it for the last three decades?  Unfortunately Barbara Mikulski thinks so little of Maryland voters that she feels it's better to run misleading television ads than engage in a meaningful debate about the future of our state."
